More stuff I have recently finished and not shared! I've actually made more than I thought. And this first one is even for me to keep!
I made this scarf just before Christmas with Heather Ross double gauze and some silly pompoms. I love it but needed little fingerless gloves to help keep my hands cosy. The yarn is Sirdar Crofter dk and the pattern a free one found on Ravelry. A really easy, quick knit but more shapeless than my Susie's Reading Mitts. They do the job and show the stripes off nicely, though.
Spouse's socks! The hastily-knitted-one-week-before-Christmas ones. Yarn is my favourite Knitcol dk in the Degas colourway. This is them after being worn all day Christmas day and flung in the washing machine. Love that yarn!!
And my Daddy's birthday socks, also Knitcol yarn but in the Renoir colourway. These were the ones that caused all the trouble when I tried them on Spouse for size and he declared them "best socks ever!!" Dad's are hanging here on the left next to my Mum's birthday socks from earlier in the year, hers are Chopin.
I have yarn for another pair for Spouse, I will get another pair made for me before my only pair wear out!!
