happy mail V2.0 - thanks, Pam!!

You remember the charm pack swap at the ORB Flickr group, yes? I know I haven't shown pictures yet - tomorrow, I pinkie promise! I meant to last night but got caught up booking a hotel for our weekend away in July for the Spouse's birthday - we're going to Wales! Yeehaw! I've never been and Caernarfon is really beautiful. And only a half hour from Portmeirion where the 60's programme "the Prisoner" was filmed so perfect for a visit - yes, we are THAT geeky. Heh. Anyway, what was I saying? Yeah, the charms. So, Pam of Uberstitch (who is lovely - I bought the fabrics for the Godzilla Shoo-fly from her) had an extra pack she said she wanted to send. And I was after some fantastic cassette fabric she had. We struck a swappy deal for some Heather Ross bits I had. Want to see what I got? Hmmmmm?
*Picks jaw up off floor* Now I'd mentioned that the cassettes were for a quilt I was starting to plan for ME. Full of things that relate to me in one way or another and I though the colour scheme was going to be black, white and citron. Thanks to Pam I've just about got enough to get started (to get finished, really!!) AND the fabrics she sent are full of butterflies, skulls, clocks and letters - some of my very favourite things. She is so smart!!

AND she sent these.
Aaaw! The Kitty face is a mirror and there were duplicates of the bag, keyring notebook and mirror for the Chook - so there's no fighting. What a sweetie, eh? Thank you, my UberPam, you're a treasure.
P.S. Oh, yeah, and she sent TWO charm packs!! Tomorrow!!

Hi! I'll try really hard to reply to comments by email (unless you're a no-reply Blogger in which case I can't!) because I love getting your messages but I'm a working mum and don't always manage - I read and appreciate every single one!
