sunshine, fencing and us!
We've had glorious weather here the last week so this morning we decided the much long overdue fencepost fixing was going to take place. It actually wasn't such an arduous task once we'd started (we've had 3 broken posts for 2 years now!!) and I've painted the whole thing, too, so it looks grand. But look what the Chook did! It's a photo of me an' the spouse!!
Bringing the number of photos of us together to about 5. Not including wedding photos. He has a really weird camera smile (y'know like Chandler in that episode of friends?) and I think he's much better looking than this. Plus, I've not a stitch of makeup on and if you look closely? I'm covered in paint (it's even in my hair!!!) but I think we look happy, healthy and that's a lovely straight fence behind us!

Hahahaha...I read this to Don...he bust out laughing!! I think it's a great photo and I feel you....we never have our picture together because I alway have the camera in my hand....bravo Holly!!:)
ReplyDeleteY'all look wonderfull. Wish our spur of the moment pics looked that nice.
ReplyDeleteYou may have a photographer on your hands.
Great pic!!
Oh, those unplanned photos can be the best. For SOME people! You two look wonderful and you don't need makeup, period. My guy is unclassicly handsome like your guy, so I know what you mean. And the fence! WooHoo, big check-mark in the done column! Nice going!
ReplyDeleteIt's cold and blowy here, not nice at all. No outside projects for us, yet!
Give the Chook an extra bit in her allowance, she did great!
What a great photo - you two look great - you have to frame this for your chookie's room - she did great
ReplyDeletehaha - Lynz it's a lovely photo!!God I envy your hair!! We are much the same. We've got about 10 photos of us together... and they're never quite right. Either I look dorky or the DP is pulling a silly face. But we're booked in for family photos in a fortnight so here's hoping that out of the 500 photos they'll take maybe one will ok!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a brilliant photo Lynz! I can't believe Al's actually smiling in a photo! And OMG you look like your Mum here! I actually did a double take! Well done Chook! xxx
ReplyDelete'tis a lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteLike you it wasn't until Hannah started taking photos that we got into double figures of photos of the 2 of us!
Well done on the post fixing/painting.
Love the photo! The ones that are taken unexpectedly, real life are often the best and I love this one! Well done Chookie!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo and your fence! That's a huge project to complete. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteYeah on the fence - wanna come do ours? One straight bit of 22m plus a couple of other bits?
ReplyDeleteSO nice to see you both - and at least he smiles and doesn't stick his finger up his nose.
I think you two look great. Unplanned photos are the best ones.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Wonderful to see you and the hubster together, even if he does have a "weird camera smile" on.
ReplyDeleteNow if you are ever feeling like a trip to Oz, do we have a fence for you to fix! LOL
PS love the Easter decorations.
