BINGO!!!

So, the PSA had a bingo tea on Friday night and the Chook was absolutely desperate to go. Honestly - I would rather have done anything than go but y'know, that's what Mum's do! SO I dragged my Mum along (if I was suffering? So was she!) and we actually had a good bit of fun. Mum and I won nowt (as per usual!) but the Chook won 3 raffle prizes AND the kids Bingo.
Check the stuff! My personal favourite is the kit for making Harvey Wallbangers (in the schools' defence, my Mum went up to collect this one - they're not in the habit of giving alcohol to 7 year olds!) but we have been painting the tea set this afternoon, it is wicked!
And in totally unrelated news, I have spent today turning this into a teeny tiny lap quilt for my teeny tiny Granny's 87th birthday in April. It is as far as getting ready to quilt so not a bad weekends work!

  1. I laughed so hard at the Chook winning a drink mix kit! That just tickled me. And dragging YOUR mum along, too- what a hoot!

Now I want to paint a tea set, I bet you're having fun.

Way to win, Chookie! And you guys' bingo looks way different from ours. We have to get 5 numbers in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

  2. We play it first to a row and then first to get *every* number. And it is generally the preserve of the.....er......lower end of the economic spectrum. How snobby of me!

Hi! I'll try really hard to reply to comments by email (unless you're a no-reply Blogger in which case I can't!) because I love getting your messages but I'm a working mum and don't always manage - I read and appreciate every single one!
