fabric, fabric everywhere!

You remember me saying I picked up 3 packages yesterday? All 3 were from the States and all 3 had some form of fabric in them.

Number 1 parcel is half of an order from the Fat Quarter Shop (where is the other half Mr. Postman? HUH?!?) and it's a fat quarter bundle of Sandi Henderson's "Ginger Blossom" which apart from being adorable (and green and pink!!) was on sale. Result! I have NO use for this (I do try to avoid stash aquisition unless I have something in mind!) but it was too cute.

Number 2 parcel was the Maverick Animals quilt (and teeny quilt) from Dee but she also included some adorable scraps (some o' them quite big!). I especially love the pink Babushkas and the trees. Chookie (unsurprisingly) loves the driving dogs!

And parcel number 3? Was these amazing reproduction print coins from Greta. Aren't they the coolest things? I'd mentioned that I love the look of the 30's prints and she said she had an additional set for a project that she didn't need and would I like them? Would I? I just love the colour pallete and hope to make a pretty Eastery coin quilt. Happy days!! Thanks so much, Greta!

And that concludes my fabric droolery. At least until the black and pink set arrives!

  2. Oh, you'll think of something to use your new fabrics on, never fear! Stash is good, you'll learn that! And it's also unavoidable. :)

So nice of Dee and Greta to send you goodies, yay for friends!

  3. Oh 3 lovely piles of fabric! The thing I love about new fabric is thinking about the possibilities! How fun! I'll have to post the the pictures of my ginger blossom quilt from Dana's first quilt along and the coin quilt I made with the leftovers! Mmm!

Hi! I'll try really hard to reply to comments by email (unless you're a no-reply Blogger in which case I can't!) because I love getting your messages but I'm a working mum and don't always manage - I read and appreciate every single one!
