We did some serious garden clearing today. It really needed done and there's 3 fence posts needing replaced. Gah. However, spouse made a nice discovery when chopping back the grapevine.
Lots of ickle black grapes!!! Hee-heeee!
We'll get a bottle of Chateau Graham one of these years!!
P.S. Yes, I do have the most unphotogenic husband in the world!
Maintenance work is just no fun... all that work to get where you were. Last winter someone ran thru our back fence with a big van so we had to replace about 25 ft of fence...just not fun at all! But it is nice to have a husband that know how to do it!
He's not unphotogenic, he's GRIMACING from all the hard work! Hey, nice grapes. Reminds me of a joke....This is for the Chook! Do it in a high, squeaky duck-like voice...
A duck waddled into a bar and says to the bartender "got any gwapes(grapes)?" and the bartender said "no", so the duck waddles back out. The next day the duck waddled back in again and said, "got any gwapes(grapes)?" and the man said "NO" so the duck waddled back out. He did this again the next day but the man said NO AND IF YOU COME BACK IN AGAIN I WILL NAIL YOUR FEET TO THE FLOOR!" (Little duck eyebrows shoot straight up and he quickly waddles out!) The next day the duck walked in again and went up to the bartender and asked "got any nails?" and the bartender screams "NO!" and the duck said, "good, got any gwapes?"

I can't believe you still have grapes. We have had too many frost for anything like that to still be on the vine!
